Social Skills Training

The purpose of this course is for students to learn skills necessary for appropriate social interaction as well as interpersonal problem-solving techniques necessary for resolving conflicts and problems which occur in their daily lives. Students will learn skills ranging from making appropriate eye contact to complex skills such as behavioral negotiations. Problem-solving measures will include investigating optional strategies and consequences of behavior in various social settings and practicing proper responses.
